The Renaissance of German Sparkling Wine:
German sparkling wine struggles with its bad reputation. Next to its siblings from Italy, Spain and France it often takes last place, sometimes rightly so. However, KESSLER sparkling wine impressively proves that genuine quality German sparkling wine is on a par with the very best. The vintage collection in particular is compelling with highest quality at a fair price.
Tastes Like No Other:
This classy vintage sparkling wine will surprise you at the very first sip: Lime zest, green apple and peach create a taste explosion on the palate. The fresh acidity and vivid perlage round off the flavor of this top-class sparkling Riesling.
Bound by Tradition:
With a history reaching back more than 190 years, KESSLER is the oldest sparkling wine producer in Germany. It is one of the few with roots in Champagne. Before founding the company in Esslingen am Neckar in 1826, G. C. v. Kessler learned all about champagne production at Veuve Clicquot. Since then, the small company has been producing German sparkling wine of prime quality.
KESSLER Riesling Vintage is produced by hand according to the “méthode traditionnelle.” This gentle bottle fermentation process is so complex that it is only used in the production of about 3% of all German sparkling wines. But it’s worth it: Only the 30-month maturation period enables the gentle development of a fine and intense, full flavor with a fine mousse.
